Corporate Volunteering at Caritas-Market HQ
People affected by poverty can purchase food and everyday products at affordable prices at Caritas Markets. At the central warehouse in Sempach Station, the orders of the 23 Caritas Markets in Switzerland are compiled and prepared for transport every day. Deliveries and product donations from our partners are also received, sorted and stored. Get your team together and combine an impressive team experience with social engagement at the Caritas Market.
Our offer for companies
During your assignment, you will support our logistics team in stock management: you will help with the acceptance of goods, with sorting different items, with preparing orders for Caritas Markets and with the organisation and administration of the stock.
The assignment is suitable for groups of between 10 and 30 participants. We will be happy to organise the half-day or full-day programme according to your wishes.
The event costs for a full-day assignment are 120.00 CHF per person (excluding travel). The following services are included:
- Organisation of the assignment
- Welcome drink
- Introduction to the Caritas Market
- Practical work in the warehouse
- Lunch and aperitif with products from the Caritas Markt
A contribution of 1,500 CHF per volunteering assignment is required to cover costs. By making this contribution, you will be providing important support to people in Switzerland who are affected by poverty.
