Caritas IC-Symposium

Editions 2022-2024

Caritas hosts an annual symposium where experts from diverse fields come together to exchange insights on climate-related challenges and solutions. Participants include practitioners from Swiss and international INGOs, representatives from donor organizations, academic institutions, private sector leaders, and public sector climate specialists.

Held annually, the symposium fosters dialogue and collaboration across sectors. The primary language of the conference is English.

On November 11, 2024, Caritas Switzerland hosted a half-day symposium dedicated to exploring the intricate relationship between climate protection and socioeconomic development in the Global South. We were delighted to welcome a diverse group of speakers, including development experts and climate activists from the Global South, as well as representatives from prominent international civil society organizations, and green tech entrepreneurs.
