Corporate Volunteering in the Clothing Centre

Actively help with sorting clothes donations and find out a lot of interesting facts about sustainability and social integration.

The Caritas Switzerland Clothing Centre in Emmen (LU) sorts 850 tons of textiles a year and ensures that they are recycled. Get involved together with your team and get to know an interesting social project run by Caritas Switzerland.

Our offer for companies

During a Corporate Volunteering action with your employees, you will be involved in the daily work of the clothing centre. You actively support the clothing centre team and help with sorting the clothes donations. You find out a lot of interesting facts about poverty, sustainability and social integration.

The action is suitable for groups of between five and 20 participants. We are happy to arrange the day’s programme according to your wishes: half or full days or several days of action in small groups are possible.

The event costs are CHF 120 per person (excl. travel) for a full-day action. This includes the following:

Organisation of the action
Welcome drink
Lunch
1 hour guided tour of the Clothing Centre
Drinks reception with professional input about the Clothing Centre

Corporate Volunteering actions at Caritas Switzerland involve a programme contribution of CHF 1’000 per action. We consider the amount of the programme contribution as a guide value. With it, you are offering substantial support for people affected by poverty in Switzerland.

We will be pleased to assist you in organising your Corporate Volunteering action. Capacity for group actions is limited, which is why we ask you for an early registration, at least one month in advance.
